And 40 Years Just Flew By

It seems like yesterday, as they say, that I was the youngest one in the office and trying desperately to get a grasp on what was important to know about selling real estate.  I worked mostly from home, even back then.  The kids had millions of activities and I was trying to fit in real estate showings between getting them to and from school. Evenings were more activities.

After they went to bed I wrote offers and did listing agreements.  Somehow we made it work.  I took them to almost all of their tennis, soccer and cross-country events.  Fun and busy times! Because of the children, I was the first in the area to ever have a team. That leveraged out the work so that I could spend more time with family, Now teams are commonplace.

The Sue Long Realty Group just celebrated 40 years of serving the nearby communities. On April 11th, we had a great gathering of more than 70 locals who came out to help us mark the event by tipping a glass of cider at Two Towns to the legacy. They were our past customers and close friends who have supported and encouraged us every step of the way.

At this point in my career, I look back and am so thankful for the many who patiently stood by as I gained my confidence.  It has been such a joy to have had such great interactions and built lasting relationships with so many wonderful people.  Real estate is really a satisfying and rewarding career.  If you know anyone you think would enjoy it, please have them come talk to me.  I’d love to share the pro’s and con’s and help them get started.
For all of you who have been or are our clients, we thank you for our continued success and the ability to be a part of your lives and dreams. We are so very grateful for each of you!

Many Thanks, Sue
