Meet the 2021 COLORS of the year!

That’s right, why have just one, when you can have 2! Pantone™ has announced that “Illuminating” and “Ultimate Gray” are the trending colors for this year.

Does it mean they couldn’t choose or that they wanted to have options? “No one color could get across the meaning of the moment,” Laurie Pressman, the vice president of the Pantone™ Color Institute, said in an interview.

I love s big bright yellow flower, so it’s no surprise that putting a bouquet in a gray vase is more than beautiful flowers, but a trend that can easily be used throughout the home. An “Illuminating” teapot on the stove top or “Ultimate Gray” back-splash tiles, there’s endless opportunities to freshen up your home, while watching your budget as well.

I’m a huge fan of throw pillows and cozy blankets and swapping them out, makes a huge impact without making a major financial purchase by buying a bright yellow couch! Where would you add these great colors and what do you think of this year’s trends?
